My New Logo

I have been wanting a new logo for years but too lazy to do it. lol. Then I figured hey why not have AI make my previous logo better and I'll photoshop the errors out. And it turned out pretty sick.

Back in 2014ish when I was doing 2D animation I made that very first logo you see. That's when I hadn't designed Milantique yet. I just knew I wanted him to be a jester, trickster character of sorts but I hadn't fully conceptualized him yet. Then I had a dream of the character and got to work designing him.

I even made an intro animation. The stick figure guy pops up, looks around and then Milantique pops up behind him then a ball hit them creating this huge cloud of smoke covering the whole scene and when the purple smoke cleared there the logo was. And the rainbow was animated. The problem is that was on an external hard disk that got corrupted. Foolish me I should of had a back up for my back up. lol. No but with some research I learned that specific hard drive breaks very easily so it was my fault for not researching the product better when I was buying it. I took it to geek squad and they said the data could not be restored. It was bricked. And I was just annoyed so I told them to just keep it. I should of kept it and tried figuring something out but I wasn't in a good place and didn't want to deal with it. To this day I don't know if they were swindling me, incompetent or there really was nothing that could be done.

So I lost everything. The only reason I still have my 2D animations is because they were uploaded to Youtube. And I got that logo off one of my online accounts. There were other projects in my early days I lost too. Some flash games. The 3D art projects when I was teaching myself before DAVE School. But it's whatever.

In the end, I think this logo came out really cool looking. Also I had to change the name because someone Milantique by Milan Paul completed destroyed any trace of my stuff on google. lol. I have no idea how they were able to plaster their stuff all over the search engine but whatever. It was just a word I made up to name a World of Warcraft character. It wasn't that important to me.
